Double Trouble Bog

Here's a painting I did in the summer of 2007. It's part of the cranberry bogs at Double Trouble State Park in New Jersey.

Blair - I must comment again - Now I know why I am drawn to this particular painting, it IS magical. It reminds me of an artist who I went to school with many years ago. He has become quite successful and does wonderful landscapes that are magical. His name is Tom Uttech and his work is hanging in the Alexandre Gallery in New York City. You must check his work!

Carol, Thanks for telling me about Tom Uttech. I have been reading a lot of Emerson and Thoreau lately and Tom's work seems to be right in line with the spritual connection to nature they write about.

Very colorful. You are doing very well for only having painted for a few years. You have an artistic eye - that will really help you!
